1947 Pontiac Streamliner Eight Station Wagon

Both the Torpedo and Streamliner series Pontiacs only showed minor design changes in 1947. A simplified grille with 4 wide bars and was protected by a top cap incorporating the Indian head emblem. The "silver streak" theme was continued, but with 5 bars of chrome on the hoods. Again, the Torpedo's had no beltline or speedline chrome moldings, and a short fender crown molding. The Streamliner had a longer crown molding on fenders, and featured both the beltline and crown moldings. The Streamliner sedan-coupes had fastback styling with chrome trim encircling the rear window.
